Choosing the right loft conversion
Using high quality materials from reputable sources, We have experience on all types of loft conversions, whichever you may decide is right for your home.
Dormer Loft Conversion
There are several types of Dormer loft conversions available, including flat roof, pitched and hipped and pitched. We can advise you of the advantages of each style.
Velux Loft Conversion (Roofline)
This style of loft conversion is appropriate for houses where the existing loft already provides adequate headroom. This option is less disruptive than a Dormer loft conversation. With their gently sloping roofs Velux loft conversions retain some of the charm of being 'up in the eaves'.
Hip to Gable Loft Conversion
This type of loft conversion is only suitable for houses that are already hip-ended. For this loft adaptation we extend the existing roof in line with the external wall, creating plenty of extra floor space - often enough for two rooms and a bathroom. This leaves the house looking from the outside as though it was originally built to this specification.
Internal Roof Height
Any type of roof structure can be converted as long as there is a minimum height of approximately 2.4 metres, or 7 ft 10 inches, at the highest point.
